The improved Quadruped Unmanned Ground Vehicle (Q-UGV) model is equipped with small arms from Onyx Industries.

The robots are equipped with the Onyx SENTRY System (RWS), which uses advanced digital imaging technologies with artificial intelligence support. It has the ability to automatically detect and track moving objects and people, transferring data to an operator located anywhere in the world.

The ability to operate autonomously makes these robotic systems particularly promising for use in military and security patrol missions.

Not so long ago, in April 2024, Unitree Go2, another robot dog equipped with a flamethrower, was announced. The fact that this model is also available for purchase by the general public highlights the rapid development and commercialization of such technologies.
