The decision was made after Apple executives realized Siri was “falling behind.” After testing ChatGPT, they saw how it was able to follow the flow of the conversation and answer complex questions. This led to a major internal restructuring that made productive AI a top priority. At least that’s how the media describes the situation.

Apple is expected to introduce a much improved Siri at its developer conference in June. The new Siri will be more talkative and versatile thanks to productive artificial intelligence. But the update is only the first step. Apple plans to integrate generative AI into all of its products and is even considering licensing additional AI models from Google and other companies.

To support these advancements, new iPhones will come with increased storage capacity.
