Two years ago, workers at the Apple Store in Tucson, Maryland, unionized. They have now authorized a strike after “a year of treatment by Apple management that has produced unsatisfactory results.”

There are no exact dates for the event yet. Employees have only voted to start a strike, but have not yet decided on the time to stop work.

After more than a year of working with Apple management to unsatisfactory results, IAM CORE members voted to strike at the Apple Towson store, signaling their collective demand for meaningful change.

Issues that particularly concern investors include concerns about business-life balance, unpredictable scheduling practices that erode privacy, and wages that do not reflect the cost of living in the area.
