Samsung Galaxy A55 and Realme 12 Pro Plus are really good smartphones. But they are still different.
The A55 comes with nothing but the smartphone itself and the cable. You will also receive a case, 67W charger, cable along with the Realme 12 Pro Plus. Samsung’s back panel is made of glass, and its frame is made of metal. At the same time, Realme has eco leather on the back panel. Realme 12 Pro Plus has a curved display with minimal bezels.
Additionally, the Galaxy A55 has an official IP67 water resistance rating. As for Realme, there is nothing officially announced.
Face unlock is slightly faster on the Realme and the fingerprint scanner works equally well and is built into the display in both cases. The screen features of both smartphones are the same: Full HD ++ resolution, AMOLED matrix, 120 Hz refresh rate. However, while Realme has anti-PWM technology, Samsung does not.
In terms of performance, Realme uses Snapdragon 7S Gen while Samsung uses Exynos 1480. Both smartphones perform excellently in this regard.
For those who do not play any games on a smartphone, there will be no speed difference between them. In general, the Samsung is a little faster in games, although it gets warmer.

Both smartphones have a battery capacity of 5000 mAh. You can expect at least 8 hours of screen time on both devices. Moreover, if you do not play, Samsung will “live” with you for about 10-15% longer.
Samsung A55 supports maximum 25 W charging and is fully charged in 1 hour 15-20 minutes. With Realme 12 Pro Plus, charging is already at 67 W and the smartphone is fully charged in 40 minutes.
In both cases, the selfie lenses are 32 MP. They take great photos. However, Realme still copes better with portraits, although it cannot record 4K video on the front lens.
Both smartphones have a triple camera on the back. In both cases, the main camera is 50 MP, width 12 MP (Samsung) and 8 MP (Realme). Realme’s third module has three times optical zoom with optical stabilization and also a 64 MP portrait camera, while Samsung has a 5 MP macro camera. Photo examples are above. Technically, the camera is more advanced in the Realme 12 Pro Plus, but some shots come out bad due to hand shake (the smartphone is more sensitive to this). At the same time, Samsung is the more versatile option when it comes to cameras.
The main camera records video in higher quality in 4K Realme, but in Full HD – Samsung.
Both smartphones are really good. The expert himself would definitely choose Realme. The truth is that Samsung’s bezels are thicker, its optical zoom is worse, it has no charge and it has less power.
