Ads will only be shown to users who are actively engaged in PC gaming.

New ads will be placed in the “Settings” section. Avid PC gamers will see a recommendation to subscribe to Game Pass.

However, according to Microsoft, ads will only appear on the home and professional versions of Windows 11 and only if the user is signed in with a Microsoft account.

This move will allow the company to attract more users to its gaming service, especially those who use Windows daily but are not yet Game Pass subscribers. True, the important question is how satisfied are users with this type of advertising?
