Digital Foundry experts conducted a special test to find out whether the iPhone 15 Pro is capable of beating the Nintendo Switch on its home turf. The results in portable mode showed the following:
- Horizon Chase 2 also has a higher frame rate on the iPhone 15 Pro, but a higher resolution on the Switch.
- Grid Autosport has a higher frame rate on the iPhone 15 Pro and better resolution on the Nintendo Switch.
- GTA: Definitive Edition on the Apple smartphone has better lighting and special effects, but the Switch produces a more stable frame rate.
- Alien Isolation has a higher frame rate on the iPhone 15 Pro, but the resolution is higher on the Nintendo console.
If you connect the iPhone 15 Pro to a TV or monitor, the image will definitely be better than on the console. In addition, Apple’s brainchild allows you to play AAA hits such as Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4, Death Stranding and Assassin’s Creed Mirage.
