The main fear that managers face on the path to business development is the “fear of financial loss”, according to a study by the Association of Managers. This response option was chosen by 64% of respondents.

Among other phobias of managers, the main ones are “fear of delegating and losing control” (44%), “fear of failure and failure” (40%), “fear of not fulfilling their obligations and tasks” (34 %) and “fear of losing reputation and respect among colleagues and subordinates” (30%).
At the same time, respondents named the most important personal qualities of a successful top manager as “responsibility for results” (68%), “flexibility and creativity of thinking” (48%), “strong will and determination”, as well as “expressed leadership qualities” (34 each).
Senior managers and heads of various functional areas of 220 Russian companies aged between 25 and 65 took part in the survey.
