MTS subsidiary MWS (MTS Web Services) will invest more than 7.5 billion rubles in the development of its own public cloud platform until the end of 2025. This is stated in a message from MTS.

The public cloud platform will be an ecosystem of network infrastructure and services, tools for storing and processing data, PaaS services and solutions for securing cloud infrastructure. All components will reportedly be developed in-house.
The company is creating a platform focused on information security and personal data protection standards. The platform is expected to be available to businesses and users in 2025.
By the end of 2024, MWS will also launch a series of new services and areas, including virtual infrastructure based on Russian software, AI cloud, and more than 30 new enterprise-grade cloud products.
MWS will also include all CloudMTS cloud services, MTS data center infrastructure, as well as a number of MTS RED cybersecurity services.
