Purchases of state-owned enterprises from companies in the small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) segment at the end of January-March 2024 exceeded 1.6 trillion rubles, according to data from the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.

Compared to the first quarter of 2023, the purchase volume increased by almost 84 billion rubles. By the end of the year, its planned volume should amount to 7.2 trillion rubles.

The largest increase in the number of contracts since the beginning of 2024 occurred in support services related to financial intermediation and insurance services (an increase of more than 48 times), chemicals and products (almost seven times), software and software development services, consulting. and similar services in the IT field (more than four times).

According to the SME Corporation, the largest increase in purchases was demonstrated by businessmen from Moscow, the Republic of Tatarstan and the Sverdlovsk region (these regions accounted for 243.3 billion, 94.5 billion and 54.4 billion rubles , respectively).

From 2022 there is a 25% quota for purchases from small and medium-sized companies by the largest customers. The SME Corporation monitors compliance with the quota.
