The project gains importance due to the disaster that occurs in many cities of Rio Grande do Sul and requires urgent intervention on a daily basis. In this sense, the federal government has committed to permanently update information on support campaigns.
Based on the official support actions prepared by the federal government for Rio Grande do Sul, companies and individuals will be able to plan their own support actions.
Government forgives RS’s 36-month debt
Among the information published on the platform is the decision announced by the Minister of Finance Fernando Haddad to postpone the payment of Rio Grande do Sul’s debt to the Union for 36 months. For the same period, around 4 percent annual interest on the debt will also be forgiven. But the measure still needs to be approved in the Senate.
The page dedicated to SC also includes information such as fee exemption for transporting donations within the state, location of field hospitals, pending income tax refunds, FGTS disaster withdrawal, hydrological monitoring, among other information. Additionally, the portal facilitates the transparency of expenditures resulting from campaigns to support the population of Rio Grande do Sul.
