Android 15 will come with new features to protect your smartphone from theft. Google announced it on its blog.

Theft detection lock tool analyzes smartphone movements in the background. If it is snatched or stolen, the device is locked.

Remote Lock allows you to lock your smartphone using only your phone number. A similar feature, Google Find My Device, will require an account password. The Offline Device Lock feature locks your smartphone screen when you disconnect from the Internet.

All new features are included in the second beta version of Android 15.
