Rostelecom plans to hold an initial public offering of its RTK-DPC cloud service on the Moscow Stock Exchange. The financial director of Rostelecom, Sergei Anokhin, spoke about this, his words are quoted by Interfax.
At the moment, Rostelecom is working on the parameters of the future placement and deadlines. According to the CEO of the European broker Mind Money, Yulia Khandoshko, the proportion of shares in free-float can reach up to 10%.
“Rostelecom’s decision is quite logical: cloud services and data centers are a separate business and therefore need to be brought into a separate structure. In addition, IT companies are now at the peak of their popularity, especially those that are now listed on the stock exchange,” Khandoshko said.
Previously, IT companies Astra and Diasoft went public; Their free float was 5% and 8%, respectively.
