The Moscow management company, which manages Makfa JSC, was transferred to the Federal Property Management Agency on May 16, 2024. This decision was made in accordance with the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office, which was heard by the Chelyabinsk court .

As Aram Grigoryan, a lawyer and partner at NSP, who previously participated in the case on behalf of Makfa, told Forbes, on the eve of May 16 there was a change of participants in the structures associated with the group. There have been no replacement group leaders yet.

“It is to be expected that in the near future representatives of the Federal Property Management Agency will visit the group companies and make decisions on the personal composition of the companies’ management bodies,” Grigoryan clarified.

Previously, on May 8, it became known that the Chelyabinsk Central District Court satisfied the demand of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation to confiscate the assets of the Makfa group of companies to obtain state revenue.
