In the near future, changes in legislation may occur that will allow Russian citizens to stay in this country longer. Details are reported by TASS. The publication quotes a statement by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Dmitry Vakhrukov.
According to him, Myanmar is currently one of the priorities. The agreement is expected to be signed in September. This could become a good example for other countries with which Russia actively collaborates.
Vakhrukov added that work is currently underway on the issue of canceling tourist visas for citizens of Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Malaysia and Saudi Arabia. The necessary documents have already been prepared and are being reviewed by the partner countries.
We previously reported that one in ten Russians who applied for a Schengen visa faced a refusal in 2023.
