According to an insider, the name of the new project is Deadlock. It was previously known as Neon Prime and Citadel.
This is a competitive, heroic third-person shooter where battles take place in 6v6 format on a large map. Characters use abilities and items, and there are also tower defense type mechanics.
Dataminer describes Deadlock’s gameplay as “fast-paced” and calls the game a mix of Dota 2, Team Fortress 2, Overwatch, Valorant, Smite, and Orcs Must Die.
The game’s setting combines fantasy and steampunk: wizards, strange creatures, robots and rails in the sky, reminiscent of BioShock Infinite. Unfortunately, the timing of Deadlock’s announcement and release is unknown at this time.
