The iPhone 17 is said to feature a major redesign reminiscent of the iPhone X, which could include moving the rear cameras to the top center of the device and a narrower Dynamic Island. The screen size is expected to be between 6.1 and 6.7 inches. Additional features may include an aluminum body, A19 chip, and improved front camera.
The iPhone 17 Plus may not be included in next year’s lineup, which will only have four models left. This slimmer model was mentioned in previous reports where Apple supply chain analyst Jeff Pu and display industry expert Ross Young suggested a 6.5-inch display.
Although Apple is still testing various design options, possible delays could push the launch of this model beyond 2025.
