The minister indicated that the provision of Wi-Fi depends on Russia’s launch of a satellite constellation. According to Shadayev, this will happen in 2028, writes TASS.

Previously, the Ministry of Digital Development announced the launch of the first constellation of space communications satellites in 2026. The satellites will be used in a highly elliptical orbit for the Internet network.

It is planned to launch 737 satellites of this type until 30:30.
