Spotify is implementing a new addition to one of its latest features: the ability to view lyrics. Swedish music streaming service in particular started to activate the karaoke mode in some of the tracks available on its platform, users are given the opportunity to sing the songs and even get a final score to see how well they did.

We reiterate that Spotify’s new karaoke feature uses a feature that allows you to see the lyrics. In fact, the option is activated from the lyrics display section itself. Thus, the user only needs to find the song he wants to play, access its player and go downstairs. Once inside the area of letters, you will need to click on the “Sing” button that appears in the upper area. The app activates karaoke mode, showing a new screen with play buttons, a new preview of lyrics that change to the beat of the music, and a voice level indicator.

Spotify, on the other hand, uses a microphone to be able to pick up the user’s voice and set the final score. The assessment is actually This is an accuracy percentage so that the user can know if they did it in a similar way to the original artist. If the percentage is high – obviously more than 80% – the platform will show confetti on the screen as a reward.

While there are artists who, regardless of this feature, release “karaoke” versions of their songs on various streaming platforms for the user to interpret, Spotify’s new mode seems to be available on most tracks with lyrics. Please note that this feature is only active in a few countries, but will likely expand globally in the coming days.

Spotify now allows you to create personalized music groups.

The karaoke feature isn’t the only one Spotify has recently launched. The Swedish service has also started activating a feature called “Super Group” which allows, in a sense, Combine different artists to create your own musical group.

“Supergrouper” doesn’t actually create collaborations by mixing music from different artists. It is rather another option for design playlist personalized with songs of the artists the user is a fan of. The playlist can be shared with other users or through social networks. Also have a slightly different design so that the person who created it can show who your ideal musical group will consist ofwhat will this band be called and who will be, for example, the singer, guitarist, etc.

This feature is currently only available in English-speaking countries. The user can access this link from their smartphone and select the artists you would like to see in the group – or let Spotify do it based on your listeners – and also set their roles if you like. You can also create a name for this imaginary group. Finally, the app will create a playlist with songs from each artist that best suit the listener.
