SberDevices announced a new generation of SberBox TV set-top box: SberBox 2. The set-top box received a new form factor and improved equipment, the company reported.

The new SberBox 2 uses translucent material and adds softness to the curves of the turbine-shaped body.
The remote control of the device also received a new design: due to its streamlined shape, it fits more comfortably in the hand, and the retractable battery compartment opens with one click.
SberBox 2 also has the “Search for remote control” function; To do this, you must press the button on the body of the console twice and the device will sound an alarm.
The changes also affected the settings: now the set-top box can be connected to the TV using Velcro, the HDMI cable is removable, and the connector for the charging cable is located on the side.
SberBox 2 received a modern Amlogic S905Y4 chip, which supports 4K resolution and HDR technology, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. A LAN connector has been added that allows you to connect to the Internet via cable.
The company introduced the first SberBox in 2020. According to SberDevices, since then the number of console users has reached 1.5 million.
