American startup Humane is exploring the possibility of selling the company. This was reported by Reuters.
Humane has developed a wearable device called AI Pin, which is a smart pin. It is an assistant with artificial intelligence functions. It is equipped with a microphone, camera, depth and motion sensors. Screenless AI Pin: Information is transmitted through a projector to the user’s palm.
According to agency sources, AI Pin sales did not meet expectations, so Humane is looking for buyers for the company. The startup expects sales to range between $750 million and $1 billion.
AI Pin pre-orders began immediately after the product’s introduction in November 2023, retail sales began in April 2024. AI Pin sells for $699 to $799 and requires a $24 per month subscription.
