Apple is making MacBooks with foldable headphones in two sizes, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said.
The first option will be equipped with a 20.3-inch display, and when folded it will resemble a MacBook Air/Pro with a 14-15-inch display.
The second model can receive a display with a diagonal of 18.8 inches. This laptop, when closed, will be comparable in size to the MacBook Air 13.
It is unknown which version Apple will eventually release. The company’s main goal is to make a screen without wrinkles. Based on preliminary costs, the lamp will cost $600-650, the hinge – $200-250.
The MacBook will receive an M5 processor and will be introduced in 2026. Due to the low cost of components, the new MacBook will cost much more than the current MacBook Pro. In terms of price, it matches the Apple Vision Pro helmet, which costs $3,500. [9to5Mac]
