News Corporation and OpenAI have signed an agreement by which the technology company will have access to journalistic articles from the holding company’s publications to train its neural networks. The Wall Street Journal writes about this.

In exchange for access to the articles, News Corp will have access to OpenAI technology to improve its operations.

News Corporation includes, notably, The New York Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Times and The Sun.

The parties did not disclose the financial terms of the agreement. Its amount could exceed $250 million in five years, notes the WSJ.

Previously, OpenAI agreed to use materials to train neural networks with Reddit, the Financial Times, The Associated Press and other companies.
