Google has launched artificial intelligence, which itself answers user questions.
Every time a person writes a query to Google, the AI-generated answer is shown first, followed by links to other sites.
Users in the US are already testing the new AI, which additionally produces nonsense. Sometimes funny, sometimes dangerous. Often Google’s answers have nothing to do with reality.
When asked “cheese won’t stick to pizza,” the AI advises adding 1/8 cup of “non-toxic glue to make it stickier.”
When searching for “I feel depressed,” Google recommends jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge.
Google Bar called Obama the first Muslim president of the United States. It is not true.
“Yes, leaving your dog in a hot car is always safe,” says Google. At the end, the AI added that the Beatles had a track on this topic called “It’s Okay to Put a Dog in a Hot Car.”
When asked “how many rocks should I eat every day,” Google recommends eating at least one rock a day.
Google writes that former US President Andrew Jackson graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. In fact, he died in 1845.
This is just a small part of the example. Google warns that the feature is experimental, but users don’t care much about it.
