Personalized product selections have appeared on Yandex Market, which are created using a neural network based on the user’s behavior in the service, the market’s press service reported.

AI creates selections of clothing and home items based on the user’s taste. By choosing from custom selections the item that most likely matches their preferences, the user can save time searching the general catalog.
As seen in the market, 45% of orders in the “Clothing, footwear and accessories” category are made by users based on recommendations.
AI-generated selections take into account previous orders, search queries and size charts. Professional stylists also participated in the training of the neural network.
How a personal selection is formed in Yandex Market
If the user has previously searched for, for example, a red hoodie, the service will offer similar products from their favorite and most popular brands. The AI will complement the selection with other things to create a complete picture. The neural network will select jeans, shoes and fashion novelties in the appropriate size.
Marketplace users will be able to train the service’s algorithms to configure a personal selection. Its accuracy and relevance will depend on product views, purchases and additions to favorites.
In the future, a separate selection “Children” will appear in Yandex Market.
