Whoosh, MTS Yurent and Yandex are increasing fines for violating the rules for using services, including traffic rules.

We are talking about fines for violating the rules established in the offer agreements. They are written up with an appeal card, and in some cases, companies even block accounts.

Updated fines:

► Transferring control of an electric scooter to a child: 10 thousand rubles. rubles

► Trip with a passenger: 5 thousand rubles (MTS Yurent and Svist had 800 rubles, 1 thousand rubles. rubles in Yandex)

► Slowness at a pedestrian crossing: 1 thousand rubles. rubles (Previously, MTS Yurent blocked the account for a month, Yandex fined 1 thousand, and Svist – 500 rubles.)

► Incorrect parking (scooter left across the sidewalk or parking outside the zone): 500 rubles.

► Driving a scooter while drunk or causing harm to the health or property of third parties as a result of an accident due to the user’s fault: 100–150 thousand rubles depending on the service

According to operator statistics, users who systematically and maliciously violate traffic rules and basic rules of services make up no more than 1% of the total number of users. Increasing fines is a measure to improve driving culture and responsibility for violators, which will help make electric scooters safer for all road users.

In the future, it is also possible to create a single register of unscrupulous users who will have unhindered access to the services of three separate kick-sharing operators. [Коммерсантъ]
