Samsung this Wednesday based news artificial intelligence (IA) will be available in the new version Galaxy Watch. The new features will offer enhanced details on various aspects of health to encourage people to lead a healthier lifestyle.

The Galaxy AI platform was launched this year for Galaxy S24 series devices, offering a variety of AI-based features. This time, the company is signaling some of what will happen in the Galaxy Watch 7 series, which will be announced at the Galaxy Unpacked event planned to be held on July 10.

Samsung will integrate Galaxy AI into the Samsung Health app, offering new insights to track health metrics. The company’s aim is to provide users with information in a more complete and practical way.

New sleep indicators

The new Galaxy Watch will have much more complete sleep tracking than Samsung’s current watches.

This more advanced monitoring will allow the user to access precise data about the body’s condition and health development. Current information will often be compared with previous information to provide an outline of the progress in power and energy.

In addition to the sleep metrics displayed on existing models, the new Galaxy Watch will collect unprecedented data such as movements during sleep, sleep activity latency, heart rate and breathing rate. All of this will help the user understand how their sleep patterns affect their health and conditions such as their physical condition.

Healthy Living Tips will offer healthy living tips based on analysis of new metrics.

physical activities

Samsung’s new smartwatches will also combine artificial intelligence with new metrics for exercise tracking.

Samsung will launch a training routine and a resource for cyclists to calculate functional power threshold measurements in just 10 minutes. According to the company, this way, they will monitor the activity on a professional level.

Old Galaxy Watches will be left out

Unfortunately it seems Galaxy Watch 6 and earlier models will not be covered by advanced artificial intelligence features. Samsung emphasized that for now, the new features will only come to devices that will be released this year.
