The FAS opened a case of cartel conspiracy, the participants of which simultaneously increased the prices of wireless headphones in the markets.

As evident from the FAS report, in the period from 2023 to 2024, some sellers of wireless headphones simultaneously increased the prices of the devices to fight competition. According to the service, they coordinated their activities through a general chat in one of the instant messengers.
In this chat, cartel participants discussed, among other things, sanction measures for those who refused to join the conspiracy.
How the cartel members acted
Participants in the conspiracy purchased products from bona fide sellers who were not involved in the cartel and then arranged delivery to remote regions and other countries. Nobody removed the merchandise from the delivery points.
Conspiracy participants also left negative reviews on large Internet sites to reduce competitors’ ratings.
If, as a result of the investigation of the case, guilt is determined, violators will receive negotiable fines.
