AMD announced a new generation of flagship processors Ryzen 9000 (Granite Ridge).
They are based on the Zen5 design and AM5 socket. Based on the company’s charts, the top-end Ryzen 9 9950X outperforms the Intel Core i9-14900K by 4-23% in games. In applications, performance is up to 56% faster.
What chips are included in the new line:
• Ryzen 9 9950X: 16 cores, 32 threads, overclocked to 5.7 GHz, 80 MB cache
• Ryzen 9 9900X: 12 cores, 24 threads, overclocked to 5.6 GHz, 78 MB cache
• Ryzen 7 9700X: 8 cores, 16 threads, overclocked to 5.5 GHz, 40 MB cache
• Ryzen 5 9600X: 6 cores, 12 threads, overclocked to 5.4 GHz, 38 MB cache
