In September 2022, Yandex started construction of its fourth data center in Kaluga. The Kaluga data center will house more than 3.8 thousand server racks with a power of 15 kW each. The center will become the most powerful holding company in Russia.
It was previously reported that the hype around AI has increased demand for data centers. The generative AI market is projected to grow 32% to $126.5 billion by 2031.
