The Russian government has decided to extend the parallel import mechanism until 2025. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, according to Interfax.
The liver of goods subject to the mechanism can be reduced by 600 positions. This will happen as Russian-made products of adequate quality come to the market, Manturov noted.

It was previously reported that all goods imported through parallel imports may be subject to mandatory labeling. Rospotrebnadzor supported this idea and highlighted its effectiveness against counterfeiting.
