This article is written for those who want to know in advance what to do in the event of the worst-case scenario. Treat it like a table of contents that will be updated regularly. I hope you never need it.
A hypothetical scenario according to which Apple completely changes its approach to working in Russia. In such a situation, you will have to make a copy of all the data stored in your Apple ID and related services from several hours to a month.
You will need computer. A Mac running the latest macOS will be patched, but it doesn’t have to be – all of the following can be done on a Windows PC.
Go.
1. Download all photos from iCloud clouds
Instructions: how to backup all iPhone photos to iCloud
On your iPhone and Mac, with tests, 99% of memory contains only a few photos and videos. The rest actually “lie” in the cloud. This is done by default to save device memory. So, if iCloud is down, you will lose access to everything ever captured on iPhones and iPads that are subject to sanctions on your Apple ID account.
Make sure you have as much free space available on your computer’s hard drive. You can use external drives, including on macOS – to do this, transfer your media library. Photos to an external drive according to these instructions.
The sooner you start restoring photos and videos from the cloud, the better. Uploading a photo will most likely take longer than the rest of the instructions combined. For example, I had 48 thousand frames and videos, and “backing them up” took a day and a half with 700 megabit Wi-Fi speed and a powerful Mac.

Many people store it in Notes personal or sensitive data. It would be a shame to lose access to them. There are several ways to make backup copies of them, including on other services – and it doesn’t take much time.

Modern iPhones and iPads have large storage capacities. Be prepared to keep backup copies of them. hundreds of gigabytes free place. It’s better to remove unnecessary applications from your gadgets’ memory before creating a local copy. You can also save a copy of the file to an external hard drive.
To find out how long a local backup takes on your computer diskdevice penetration Settings -> About this device -> iPhone/iPad storage and look at the figure in the “Used” study.
6. Save emails from iCloud mail.

It is better to do this via a Mac, since the standard email client for iOS and iPadOS is not very suitable for writing letters in bulk.

It also shows how you can resave all your data to another cloud service. But for now, I recommend downloading them locally.
Additional Tips
I advise you to keep updated all applications from the App Store on iPhone and iPad (except for those that have stopped working in the Russian Federation), as well as those that quickly install available system updates.
