This technology combines automated processes, machine learning, and high-performance computing. The facility uses laser deposition (PLD) to create thin films from materials and analyze their quality.

Artificial intelligence independently analyzes the relationship between synthesis parameters (temperature, pressure, energy) and the quality of the resulting material. It then recommends adjustments to the parameters for the next experiment and checks the PLD setting.

Automation allows research to be completed 10 times faster, and AI can analyze huge amounts of data using fewer samples.
