Microsoft initially planned to release Windows Recall in an upcoming update, but the company now says the feature will come later, first as a preview in the Windows Insider program and later on a larger scale.
Despite this glitch, Copilot+ PCs will come with other AI features like real-time subtitle translation, advanced Windows Studio effects, Cocreator in Paint, and image creator in Photos. The media notes that these capabilities promise “significant increases in performance and efficiency” when combined with the Snapdragon X SoC.
