The system includes sensors that measure strain, vibration, ultrasonic signals and magnetic field. This data is transferred to a smartphone where a detailed protocol is created, which can then be integrated into the corporate database. The development was created by university graduate student Vladimir Vyplaven.

According to the head of the research laboratory, Sergei Bekher, the new system replaces the cumbersome hardware and software systems previously used for diagnostics and significantly reduces equipment maintenance costs.

The software has been successfully tested in production for engine diagnostics and is planned to be put into series production in the future.
