Nvidia’s dominance is bolstered by its upcoming Blackwell GPU architecture, which has been dubbed the “world’s most powerful chip.” CEO Jensen Huang said the devices will be priced between $30,000 and $40,000 and new AI accelerators will be released every year.
Nvidia reported revenue of more than $26 billion in its May earnings report and highlighted its “pivotal role” in the boom in productive AI technology.
Its stock price rose 160 percent in 2024, and the company only surpassed $2 trillion in value in February.
