Online guides contain selections of restaurants and cafes. For example, places to have breakfast, places to taste dishes made with local products, inexpensive cafes and bistros.

Dining establishments are included in MTS travel guides based on guest reviews and opinions of local experts. The service uses Big Data and artificial intelligence to select establishments with an average rating of at least 4 points on a 5-point scale. After this, restaurants with high ratings are verified by local food experts.

The guides also contain recommendations from local residents and local gastronomy experts, hotels close to restaurants are selected, posters of gastronomic events in the region and travel tips are available.

Until the end of the year, the service plans to release digital gastronomic guides for Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Murmansk, Yekaterinburg and Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Cities for the guides are selected taking into account their popularity among tourists, the presence of vibrant local cuisine, the presence of award-winning gastronomic establishments and gastronomic events.

MTS subscribers receive gastronomic guides from MTS Travel via SMS. The guides are available to subscribers of other operators through direct links.

  • Yandex Food also has its own guide to cafes and restaurants. In March 2024, the service presented a selection for Moscow, and in April for St. Petersburg.
