In practical tests, the AI managed to create a simple arcade game in just ten minutes. Claude Sonnet 3.5 is significantly faster and smarter than its predecessor, Claude Opus 3.0, and rivals such as GPT-4o and Gemini 1.5 Pro for media authoring.
The new model is also “affordable”: input tokens cost $3 per million and output tokens cost $15, compared to GPT-4o’s $5 per million for input tokens. With a 200,000 token context window, Claude Sonnet 3.5 can remember up to 150,000 words.
The model is free, but there are also paid subscriptions.
