Kaspersky Lab believes that the decision on personal sanctions was made “in relation to the current geopolitical situation and theoretical concerns” and was not based on an evaluation of the company’s products and operational activities. They described the restrictions imposed on senior managers as unfounded.
On June 21, the United States added all of Kaspersky Lab’s senior management to the sanctions list. Starting July 20, US authorities will prohibit Americans from making new transactions with the company; As of September 29, it will be prohibited to sell and use its products in the United States.
