It is planned that iPad Pro What Apple could announce on May 7th will be some very important changes compared to the current generation, including an improved design, an OLED screen and, of course, a new processor. Rumors have mentioned the M3 chip as the brains of Apple’s new iPad, but the company would make decisive changes.
According to Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, The 2024 iPad Pro will finally arrive with an M4 chip, instead of the M3 that has been rumored until now. The company’s goal, according to the aforementioned journalist, is to provide this iPad model with artificial intelligence capabilities, as the M4 chip will have an updated Neural Engine that will allow it to perform more complex artificial intelligence tasks compared to what the M3 chip can perform.
In fact, according to several leaks, iOS 18 will be equipped with artificial intelligence features, including generative AI features in apps like Apple Music, an improved search engine that can rival ChatGPT, and more. These features will likely also be available in iPadOS 18.which may officially appear this fall.
However, at the moment there are no technical details about the processor or what improvements it will have over the current M3 chip. Moreover, if Apple finally decides to include the M4 in the iPad Pro, it will be the company’s first device to integrate this SoC, as Mac won’t have them until the end of the year.– says Gurman.
Beyond the M4 chip: other improvements to the new iPad Pro

One of them is inclusion of an OLED panel in both screen sizes (11 and 12.6 inches), as well as a new front camera located in the side frame.
