Of the 15%, 2% goes to the federal treasury and the remaining 13% is distributed to the regional budget. According to the Federal Tax Service, more funds were received from personal income tax due to an increase in the volume of dividends and bonuses.
Olga Belenkaya, head of the macroeconomic analysis department of the Finam financial group, noted that income growth is also influenced by the high growth rate of household incomes against the background of a “hot” labor market.
This spring, Bloomberg wrote that Russian authorities are discussing raising personal income tax to 15% for citizens with an income of 1 million rubles a year and up to 20% for people earning more than 5 million rubles. year.
