The social network for companies TenChat has calculated which types of companies increased their income more than others after the start of a special operation in Ukraine. Overall, 46% of respondents reported an increase in revenue, but only 17% saw an increase in earnings.

The press service of the social network TenChat shared the results of the study with RB. The study involved 9.7 thousand representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises in Russia. The survey was conducted between March and May 2022. Analysts compared the indicators for the current year period with the same period in the past.

46% of study participants reported an increase in income, but only 17% reported an increase in earnings. Construction, IT, retail and consumer goods companies grew their revenue more than others (by 30-50%).

“At the same time, the peak of revenue growth in non-food retail sales occurred in March and was replaced by a decline in April, while in the direction of online sales, the trend continued until June” , note the study authors. the study noted.

38% of respondents said that they managed to increase their income due to the exit from the market of foreign brands, whose niches they occupied. Catering companies have a different situation: 41% did not notice an increase in revenue, 18% announced its fall.

Revenue fell 20% for companies providing financial and consulting services. 41% of tourism business representatives announced a drop in revenue of 30% or more.
