Seryshev noted that the challenges facing the country require rapid solutions, from scientific ideas to high-tech solutions. With the introduction of sanctions, difficulties arose with the equipment, but thanks to the efforts of scientists from the Novosibirsk Institute of Nuclear Physics and the Tomsk Region, the problems were resolved. 90% of the project uses high quality and reliable Russian equipment.
According to the press service of the SKIF Center, beams were supplied to the plant; Equipment for the booster synchrotron was also provided, as well as special stands for the installation’s magnets. These components are key to the successful operation of SKIF.
