The ecosystem entered the top five of the “TAdviser100: The largest IT companies in Russia” ranking at the end of 2023, taking fourth place. Throughout the year, the company rose two positions.

Analysts of the TAdviser publication annually evaluate the income and personnel levels of companies operating in the Russian IT market, identifying their volume and the dynamics of income of certain categories of companies. MTS revenue in 2023 amounted to 606 billion rubles, a year-on-year increase of 13.5%. Last year, the number of IT specialists at MTS increased by 15% and exceeded eight thousand people.
The development of our own technological platform, The Platform, has allowed us to strengthen our position in the ranking. It contains dozens of specialized platforms for specific tasks: working with data, security, etc. The transition to The Platform helps MTS to bring products to market much faster and also increases the reliability of the system. The unique platform is based on Open Source technologies, modified by MTS or created from scratch.
According to Pavel Voronin, MTS’s Senior Vice President for Technology, internal development has always been a priority for the ecosystem: all key technologies that provide competitive advantages are developed within the company.
One of the significant events in terms of import substitution was the transition to our own anti-fraud system, Fraud Detection Platform. The solution completely replaces foreign software and analyzes user behavior more than 30% faster and more accurately and identifies anomalies.
