The most popular cryptocurrency was trading at $75,358 on Wednesday morning, surpassing the previous all-time high of $73,580 that Bitcoin set in March, according to CoinGecko.

The data also tells us that Bitcoin was on a downward trajectory after the March boom before finally recovering ahead of the US election. At these prices, Bitcoin’s total market capitalization (the value of all coins on the market) is approximately $1.5 trillion.

The price of Bitcoin fell slightly after Donald Trump declared victory in a speech to his supporters after winning a third battleground state, Pennsylvania. The cryptocurrency is currently trading at $73,923.
