We are talking about a lawsuit filed by Yeezy IT specialists in the US District Court in California. The plaintiffs are eight people, some of whom are minors (14 years old). According to them, in April this year, West and his business manager Milo Yiannopoulos invited programmers to Yeezy to develop the YZYVSN streaming app.
During their short time working at the rapper’s company, they faced harassment based on their race, gender, age, orientation and ethnicity. West allegedly referred to employees as “slaves,” and one of the Discord channels where work communication took place was called “New Slaves.” The lawsuit claims that only Black members of the team were subject to racial discrimination.
The statement also describes the situation surrounding the development of the Yeezy Porn app, the production company’s porn studio. It should be noted that the artist’s wife, Bianca Censori, sent one of the team members a link to a video with “hardcore sexual actions.” It could have been viewed by minors.
When work on the app was completed, West and Yiannopoulos promised to pay them, including overtime, but the funds were never paid, the lawsuit says.
The authors of the statement are demanding payment and compensation for moral damages. Yiannopoulos, in a comment to the newspaper, called the appeal to the court a “joke” and “the most dishonest thing ever brought before the court.”
Earlier on Sunday, a video of Kanye West arriving in Moscow surfaced in the media. A video has gone viral on the Internet and shows the musician walking along a catwalk near the Okhotny Ryad metro station.
Some media outlets wrote that the rapper probably visited his friend, designer Gosha Rubchinsky, for his birthday. Late last year, Rubchinsky became the chief designer of Yeezy.
