According to Gizmochina, the new models promise significant improvements over the previous versions, the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro.

The IMEI database shows the model numbers: 24122RKC7C for the Redmi K80 and 24127RK2CC for the K80 Pro. The younger version is expected to enter the global market under the name Poco F7 Pro.

The previous models of the series were equipped with a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel main camera, and a 16-megapixel front camera.

While the Redmi K70 was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the K70 Pro was powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

While the new Redmi K80 series will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, the flagship K80 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset for better performance and new features.

The official launch of the devices is expected to take place in November.
