Deputy head of customer service and passenger relations Zhanna Ermolina said that they plan to launch the fast payment system (FPS) in the Moscow metro this summer. She noted that work on integrating the SBP with ticket offices, ticket machines and turnstiles has been completed. The aim of the launch is to provide passengers with the opportunity to use the technology without physical bank cards.

The planned introduction of SBP in the metro aims to simplify fare payment and increase convenience for passengers. It will allow the use of modern technologies and relieve users from the need to carry bank cards. This is a step towards modern service standards and improved transport infrastructure.

The initiative to introduce SBP in the Moscow metro was presented at the Financial Congress of the Central Bank of Russia, where Zhanna Ermolina stressed the importance of this step in terms of improving service and daily experience of passengers.
