Yandex Taxi CEO Alexander Anikin announced agreements with Transport Minister Roman Starovoyt and representatives of the Digital Transport and Logistics Association on the development of a new specialized educational program on transport digitalization for governors, regional ministers and officials responsible for this area.

“The training will be conducted by top managers of the company and invited experts, including scientists. They will describe in detail the specifics and possibilities of using technologies in public transport, taxis, carsharing and kicksharing,” Yandex Taxi’s press service told RBC.
In addition to the conferences, the company will host strategic sessions and master classes on pricing algorithms, the use of AI in logistics, traffic safety, etc.
During the formation process, Yandex Taxi hopes to find, together with the authorities, ways to solve transport problems and ways to improve the “quality and availability of transport services” in the regions.
“The implementation of the best federal and corporate digital solutions and services in the field of transport at the level of constituent entities and municipalities of Russia is a priority task of the Ministry of Transport. This is done, among other things, to improve the comfort of public transport and develop transport systems,” the representative of the ministry confirmed the collaboration with Yandex.
