I rarely write reviews of robot vacuum cleaners. This is a category of devices, with lithium it was difficult for me to make friends. The fact that I got it again a little less than a month ago, and my wife uses it herself, with pleasure (even praises it!) – from a number of emerging situations.

There is one on Yandex Market Tuviotheir brand of home appliances. And Tuvio has robot vacuum cleaners of different models. I tested one of them, but I recommend two at once: Tuvio TR04MLBB and TR05MLCB. Both are modern, assembled and work well, clean perfectly. Their application is not at all some kind of magic considering that it appeared only recently.

My opinion below is based on my experience of use Tuvio TR05MLCB within three weeks. No 90% plus are also relevant for Tuvio TR04MLBB. Because the robot vacuum cleaners themselves are the same. What’s the difference then?

Review, impressions, pros and cons of Tuvio TR05MLCB

Like the others, here the LiDAR is installed in a “tower” above the body.

◉ LiDAR works correctly, it helps a lot. A robot vacuum cleaner without LiDAR is a waste of money, everyone knows that. Here it is, and therefore the main conveniences are available, transferring devices into the category of really useful household appliances, and not toys.

Firstly, the vacuum cleaner creates a map of the house. The maximum map size is 120 square meters. The accuracy is high, I have zero complaints about the map of my apartment. Secondly, you can easily force the vacuum cleaner to clean at night and in complete darkness, it will do everything without problems. Models with only cameras cannot do this.

Finally, LiDAR knowledge improves the cleaning quality and the efficiency of the robot vacuum cleaner. It doesn’t have to knock against everything or try to figure out how close an object is and how it’s formed before figuring out how to go around it. The vacuum cleaner will also figure out where it can crawl and where it shouldn’t even try to get through.

The black glossy plastic of the case becomes covered with dust instantly, even if you clean it every day.

◉ Excellent quality of dry cleaning. After the cycle, I don’t find any surprises on the floor. It itself is completely clean even from dust, not to mention crumbs.

Today is one of two robot vacuum cleaners that my wife liked so much that she has been turning it on for a week now, not me. Only the first one cost 90 thousand rubles, not 25, like this one.

In the app, you can specify a specific level of cleaning thoroughness for each room – both the power of the work (there are three of them) and the number of passes. For example, in the kitchen, for obvious reasons, I set two passes and the national suction power. Therefore, it vacuums there crosswise, and not just from right to left.

Thanks to two guide brushes, the vacuum cleaner effectively sweeps up small items and crumbs on the floor from both sides, and not from one, as in a decent valley of analogues.

My wife has very long hair, and it still gets tangled up in the two-segment brush. But 80% of it then blows into the station’s dust collector. I found out about this when I looked inside the bag out of curiosity. The remainder is insignificant, and you can clean it manually once a month if you want.

Everything is packed well, the set is large, nothing cheap. Except that the remote control is very simple, but who needs it.

◉ A good set, will last a long time. I will list what it includes:

By simple calculations we find that the set is enough for daily cleaning, which will last on average 30-40 minutes. Otherwise, everything except the filter cannot be easily changed after the expiration of the service life – just check their condition by eye.

Yandex.Market sells absolutely all consumables for this model – for example, a set of a filter, brushes and washing attachments costs only 700 rubles. You can even buy a new battery.

The iPhone doesn’t want to take clear photos of this vacuum cleaner while it’s working. It moves quickly and blurs in 9 out of 10 shots.

◉ good engine. It drives briskly and confidently, can accelerate quickly or, on the contrary, crawl very, very carefully if necessary.

Always gets onto my carpets on the second try. First he drives straight up, bites the wheel, backs up and thinks for three seconds. Then he turns sideways and climbs in from the corner, always successfully.

By the way, it has never gotten stuck or chewed a single curtain. It is afraid of them, carefully drives around the perimeter, and does not even touch the brushes. Thanks to LiDAR for this.

Please note that the vacuum cleaner is specially equipped with brush guides in small spaces to sweep and remove dust from there.

◉ Works for a long time. According to the technical data sheet – up to 90 minutes in Eco mode.

Me too Maximumthe function was also enabled in the settings Turbo – I want uncompromising cleaning, so that I don’t have to use a regular vacuum cleaner for a week. At this rate, plus two passes through the largest room, it’s enough for 59 square meters of cleaning. When it runs out and arrives at the station, there’s about 35% of the battery left.

The charging time is decent, it can be pulled up from 30 to 100 percent in 5-6 hours. It is difficult to call this a minus, since no one uses a robot vacuum cleaner more than twice a day.

◉ The application is on par with the best on the market. This vacuum cleaner Tuvio seriously surprised me. They came up with a very good application with wide functionality on the very first try. It turned out better than most respected “Chinese” who have been churning out similar vacuum cleaners for five years or more.

Anything you might want is not here. From voice change (Russian is perfect, no “Chinese” crookedness), searching for a vacuum cleaner in the apartment by signal (if it ran away) and manual control by virtual remote control – and to a detailed history of all cleanings, “Do not disturb” mode, schedules and changes affect travel (there is a spiral, there is a Y-shaped wet cleaning) …

The map is also well implemented: everything is editable, there are restricted areas, manual settings for each room, and income up to the cleaning order in them.

I have literally one complaint about the program, at least in the mode of indoor retail outlets: the minimum possible area for prohibiting passage is too large.

I want to make the robot not go under the wall shelf-cabinet next to the bed, where a cloud of cables are thrown near the baseboard. But due to the fact that the vacuum cleaner charging station is located through the wall from the shelf, the program does not allow to slap a forbidden zone in this place. It “climbs” on the station in another room, which is why an error pops up. I’m waiting for a patch.

Otherwise, I give the app five stars. And it’s in normal, natural Russian, not Google Translate, like many others.

◉ Automatic dumping of dust and debris into the dock container – convenient. The key difference between the Tuvio TR05MLCB and its younger LiDAR model, the Tuvio TR04MLBB, is here. Thanks to it, you won’t have to pester your robot vacuum cleaner for months.

It works like this: when the cleaning cycle is completed, or the vacuum cleaner stops working on your command, after docking from the bright green compartment with low power, all its contents are blown out. And it, in turn, gets into the internal container-bag. Manually call the extraction of the object can be done by pressing the touch button under the display of the station (it also displays the charge level).

The technology itself is quite ordinary, I do not argue. The way it is implemented in the Tuvio TR05MLCB does not raise any questions for me. The only thing is that during the first week, when emptying, the room was filled with a strong smell of plastic, as if you dove face-first into a Sega MegaDrive cartridge box. Now the smell is less, but it was still noticeable for a couple of minutes.

I also warn you that the noise during emptying is incredibly loud, even in an apartment 4 rooms away everyone will hear it. It does not last long, about 10 seconds.

To remove the bag from the dock, simply pull the cardboard holder, which also serves as a “closer”. Next to it is a brush for vacuuming dirt.

In the app, you can change how often the container should be emptied after cleaning. By default, it does this straightaway. I set it to once every two cleanings, because I can’t imagine that the vacuum cleaner could fill even half of the 0.4-liter dust container in one go.

The bag into which the garbage is thrown after emptying is replaceable and disposable. After filling it, you can only throw away the taste. A set of three bags costs 800 rubles on Yandex.Market. According to my calculations, the bag will have to be changed once every three months maximum, more realistically – 4-5 months. But this already depends on how clean your home is.

Wet cleaning is not badsomething better costs twice as much. The microfiber brush is attached to the bottom of the vacuum cleaner with an adhesive panel. The vacuum cleaner can supply water from a special container during cleaning, and the flow rate can be adjusted manually or changed for each individual room.

Tuvio sells a model with a mechanical wet brush, that is, it has full wet cleaning – but it costs almost three times more. What to do TR05MLCBI have no complaints about its rides on microfiber. The floor is quite clean, after it there was no opportunity to hunch over the apartment. Just do not forget to wash the rag regularly.

◎ With a little cunning he can work with Alice. In place of this block in the first week of preparing the review there was a devastating text about the fact that the Yandex Market smart vacuum cleaner does not connect to the Yandex smart home. But with some simple tricks and a hint from the news here, I realized that this is a temporary moment, which can be corrected by anyone in a couple of minutes.

To control Tuvio TR05MLCB via Alice, you need to open the Smart Home with Alice application, select the option to add a new device and find… in the list of equipment suppliers. Thuja.

In the window that opens, enter the login and password that were included when registering in the application. Tuvio (yes, not thuja), and a miracle happens. The vacuum cleaner is added to Yandex smart home. You can call it via Alice, throwing scenarios on automation.

It is clear that this point is still being worked out. The Smart Home with Alice app does not have many of the adjustable vacuum cleaner functions. No baseo-to-weasel. I have been starting cleaning with a voice command for a week now, no problems.

◎ Dust is visible on the black caseand the white model simply does not. How so? It moves along the floor, attracting pollen. After cleaning, it looks like it was stingy, it looks ugly. You can wipe it all off in half a minute, so it doesn’t get in your eyes, of course. Maybe I’m overdoing it, but others don’t care…

What do we have as a result?

Very good, well made and Smart Vacuum Cleaner That Cleans Floors Well. It is sold in two versions. If you do not need an automatic garbage dump station, feel free to take the Tuvio TR04MLBB model. It currently costs about 15 thousand rubles on Yandex.Market.

However, if someone wants a completely autonomous robot that you don’t have to bother for months, or you can leave it for a while to do daily cleaning without human intervention, then look at the Tuvio TR05MLCB. This version is offered for an average of 24 thousand rubles on Yandex.Market.

In both cases, the device is very high-quality, useful for the home. It really cleans, and does not just ride for show. And you will have to control it through a Russian-language application, which is in many ways better than analogues of foreign and well-known domestic manufacturers of robot vacuum cleaners.

The fact that consumables and spare parts for the device are widely available for order at a low price is an additional, but also important plus.
