This was said by Vladimir Barsuk, director of SibNIA. According to him, Partizan is a mixed-design biplane that will be equipped with all systems presented at the International Aerospace Hall 2021. The aircraft should be assembled by December 2022.

Currently, the aircraft has passed a series of aerodynamic tests. Necessary measures were taken to increase the controllability of the aircraft at low speeds, and as a result, “it was possible to provide controlled flight at 60 degree angles of attack”. At the same time, aircraft fly at angles of attack of 25-27 degrees.

As noted, tests of short landing technologies are planned in the near future. “We need to approach for landing at 25-30 km/h to meet the technical requirements, planes don’t normally fly at that speed. These are the so-called second regimens, close to putting the aircraft into a tail turn. “At this limit, landing approach and proper controllability needs to be ensured,” he said.
